Currently!

And on the first day of the month?! Boy do I feel on top of it....Thanks again, Farley!

Listening: I've been working on my Winter Wonder Playlist for a couple of months now, but it's seriously all I can listen to. Be on the lookout for a special post about it over on my personal blog, Sparkly Quirky Lifebox :)

Loving: So my momma came in to school with me yesterday and helped me dec out my room for February...and folks? She's done it again. It looks picture perfect. She is just so good at making things look good! Love her :)

Thinking: So I just started doing yoga, and it's all I can think about! I love it!! I'm not very good, but I love it just the same. If you're feeling frazzled, maybe give it a try! Who knows, you just might love it!

Wanting: Coffee. Always. Enough Said.

Needing: That stack of papers to grade is just staring at me....ugh. Why did I procrastinate so long?!

Pet Peeves: I HAAAAATTTTTEEE (hate hate double hate loathe entirely) when people make plans and then cancel them. It's like, why even bother making the plans?? Also, when students are talking and starting their work while I'm still giving directions...ooo that really makes me seethe.....

Anywho! Happy February, Friends!

  1. Do you want to send your mom over to decorate mine for February too? I was lucky to get the calendar changed today.

  2. Ooooh canceling plans is terrible! Especially at the last minute. Like 5 mins before you are supposed to get picked up.

Have fun doing yoga! It's so relaxing! I love to use it in the classroom!

  3. I have yet to try yoga. I just think I will make a fool out of myself around beautiful thin ladies I've seen in there.
Hubby wants to try hot yoga. We'll see :)

    1. Haha that's why I can't go to a real yoga class--those ladies are so intimidating with their calm demeanor and organic granola! I think I'm just too spazzy for a real life yoga class...so I just use the videos I find on Pinterest and FitSugar. :) Thanks for stopping by!

  4. The only time I do yoga is when we use the Cosmic Yoga for Kids videos on Youtube with my class - I'm not sure that it is as relaxing! Glad to have found your blog!

Yoga sounds so relaxing right about now. I do kids' yoga in my class with my students after lunch time to get them to settle down. They giggle so much I don't even know if they are really focusing! lol!

  13. True story: I tried yoga in college and FELL ASLEEP in the middle of class. I woke myself up SNORING. I did not go back. :)

I am totally with you on the kids starting to talk when I'm trying to give directions. What irks me even more is when they come up to me 5 minutes later and say, "... I don't get it."

    Sigh.

    1. OO! That really irks me too!! The best though is when you read them the directions EXACTLY AS THEY ARE ON THE PAGE and they go, "Ohhhhh now I get it!"
